We hope you enjoy your visit here. Please join or login if you have joined before. LAN Of The Damned run regular not-for-profit events located in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia. These events focus on multiplayer computer & Xbox gaming over a LAN (Local Area Network), and are held twice a year. Each event includes several tournaments with prizes, cheap pizza orders for gaming stamina, McDonald's for breakfast, and of course plenty of action in the latest computer games as well as some old favourites. If you're new to the gaming LAN scene or don't know what to expect, take a look at our newbie guide for a run down on LAN preparation, or jump into our forums and talk to some of the LANing veterans there. LAN Of The Damned XXV - The Aftermath
The LAN went very well, especially considering how low the rego numbers were. Showing the AFL Grand Final on the massive projector screen was a big success and we had heaps of people throw their name in for the comp to predict the results. The winner was Mitch with his prediction of Geelong by 32 points. Molex's arcade setup got quite a lot of attention, particularly from DarkOmen who was reliving his glory days in a variety of fighting games and some strangely violent basketball.
Congratulations to RagnarokSC for winning both the Trackmania Nations Forever tournament and the Starcraft 2 tournament. I did my best to hold him off, constantly flying Command Centers around the map in finest Terran tradition, but his swarm of Stalkers overran me in the end. He also won a Random Gamer prize. Congratulations also to Mr Tall for winning the short but bloody Call Of Duty Black Ops tournament on the Xboxes. I've never seen a winner so stoked with his prize 
We finished off the event with a few games of good old Regicide
We'd like to thank Super Billing for their support once more. We'd also like to thank Aussie Broadband for providing an internet connection, without which a modern gaming LAN really isn't possible.
Our thanks also go to Pinky's Pizza and McDonalds for supplying us with discounted food.

LAN Of The Damned XXV - Confirmations
Confirmations are open for LAN Of The Damned XXV. Once you have confirmed your registration you can book a seat with a gigabit connection for an additional $5.
Tournaments at the event will be Trackmania Nations Forever & Starcraft 2. There will also be an Xbox tournament, the game used will be determined on the day.
We will be showing the AFL Grand Final on the big projector screen at the event. There will also be a competition running to see who can most closely predict the results.

LAN Of The Damned XXIV - The Aftermath
We had a good turn out for the LAN with more people showing up than we actually had registered. Other than some problems with the internet connection the event went very well, we even had some new faces. Congratulations to DragonFragonWagon for winning the Call Of Duty 5 CTF tournament. They received medals and t-shirts thanks to Gamer Gear. Congratulations also to Kasheem for winning the Blood Bowl Legendary Edition tournament, which is likely the longest tournament we've ever run, taking about 14 hours to complete. He received a trophy and 2gig of DDR3. Well done MigratoryToast, who won the X-Box Halo Reach tournament. He received a trophy and a $50 EB Games voucher.
We'd also like to thank South West TAFE, Tt eSports, McDonald's, Pinky's Pizza, Super Billing, Henna Street Video and Gigasoft IT Solutions for their support.

LAN Of The Damned XXIV
LAN Of The Damned XXIV will be held on May 21st & 22nd 2011 at the Warrnambool College Hall. Entry will be $20.
We will once more be including XBoxes at the LAN, but remember guys that headphones are REQUIRED!
Once confirmations open you will be able to book a gigabit seat for an extra $5.
We will be holding a Blood Bowl tournament during the LAN. It is yet to be decided whether it will be original BB or the Legendary addition. Jump on the forums and let us know which you prefer. Chuck us some suggestions for other comps while you're there.
